The most notable feature of this rifle is the exceptional McMillan stock that, like its predecessor, features lightweight carbon fiber construction, aluminum pillars that ensure a stable mount, a medium sized fore-end for added stability, and textured panels on the forend and grip that offer a great feel. That, however, is where the differences end. This 2.0 version of the popular Game Scout also includes a comfortable vertical grip with thumb rests and wrist area that positions the hand for perfect trigger alignment. A raised comb has also been added to optimized eye-to-scope alignment. Versatile Sonoran Carbon Ambush camouflage adds concealment from sharp eyes.

In addition to the Game Scout 2.0 stock, this rifle includes a number of uprades over the standard X-Bolt rifle. Most obvious is the great-looking, durable and highly protective Cerakote Carbon Gray finish. At the end of the skip fluted, heavy sporter contour barrel resides the Recoil Hawg muzzle brake that offers a 76% reduction in felt recoil for more comfortable shooting. A thread protector is also included. The barrel of this special SPR model is also 4" shorter than standard rifles for optimal use with a sound suppressor. (Suppressor not included.)
