This is an excellent weapon for everyone. It is ambidextrous but to make it lefty compatible, you will have to send it in to them which costs around $139.00. Or have an IWI verified gunsmith they have gunsmiths listed on their website perform the swap to ensure warranty validity. They also return the original bolt back to you so you can swap it back to right hand if you so desire. Israeli weapons are always an excellent choice as their attention to detail and designs are fantastic. This will use your current AR platform 5.56 magazines too. Buy one and you will be delighted at its smooth operation and bullpup design. I paid $1099.00 for it during a December sale a great bargain for a superb gun. I am not affiliated with IWI or SMGA - I am a Military veteran and a gun enthusiast and dig this firearm. I feel that it is a must have and I bought it.
