Average of 2 customer reviews:
So I watched all the reviews on You Tube and even though people are harsh on Taurus, I have two other guns G2C and PT111G2 from them and are great. However, Taurus has had barrel issues with the early TX22 guns and mine had hardly no rifling and the inside for the barrel is coming apart after 50 rounds. Rounds came out like knuckle balls. Of course, Taurus customer service said they would send me a new barrel but the are on back order. I’ve been waiting now for about a month and still on back order. The trigger is great as is the feel of the gun. I really think it will be a good gun once Taurus gets it together. If you get one, CHECK INSIDE the barrel at the rifling until you find a good one. If you do get a good one, you are going to love it.
I started off wanting a Glock 44 because of the easiness or so I thought of being able to get the most out of a Training Gun. I quickly found out about the TX22 after my purchase and wanted to get my hands on one. Once I did game over. It has become my daily range gun for getting the reps in, and has been through well over 10k rounds with only a few malfunctions due to cleanliness, and shooting suppressed. And dont even get me started on shooting suppressed....I basically keep a can on this gun non stop. I use a Tac Sol Aeris, and a Sylvan Arms 22 can. Both work phenomenally well and makes it so much more fun. If youre on the fence about this one dont be. It made me a believer in Taurus and now I want several of these. And the price is great!
